My story

Hi, I'm Venus Kondapalli! I also go by Venus.

A UX designer with roots in industrial design, specialising in UX research and information architecture. Passionate about understanding the world, constantly learning, exploring diverse cultures, and traveling.

Wonder if I can get the work done right? Here is the professional me:

Trained as a Computer Science Engineer in Hyderabad, India, I bring experience from design consultancies, Fortune 500 companies, and tech startups. Over the past thirteen years, I have worked across roles including UX Designer, UX Researcher, Product Manager, Information Architect, AI Prompt Engineer, and Visual Designer—evolving into a versatile generalist skilled in both UX and UI. I specialise in shaping design strategy, solving complex user experience challenges, rapidly prototyping and iterating, and delivering pixel-perfect products. Additionally, I have managed fast-paced project deliveries, effectively planning workflows and adapting to evolving client needs.

Right now, I would like to join a product-driven tech company to work with a bigger design team. I would like to contribute my design skill and work ethic and to learn from seniors designers, to broaden my skill set and learn the entire process of building a product in an agile environment.

Wonder can I get along with the team? Here is me during spare time:

I often find myself thinking about design even in my spare time 😄—because it’s more than a profession to me, it’s a lifelong passion. I believe design should ultimately enhance the quality of human life, both functionally and aesthetically. My interest goes beyond creating products; I’m deeply drawn to the philosophy of design and its social impact. I’m inspired by beautiful environments, living beings, and human creativity. As a keen observer of the world, I constantly interpret the meaning behind everyday experiences and objects. I stay up to date with evolving design trends—both social and aesthetic—but I approach them thoughtfully, questioning their origins rather than following them blindly. I naturally gravitate toward subtlety over loudness, reflecting my own personality.
